Auto Transformer Starter

Starter is a device which limits the starting current for the smooth starting of motor.Similarly with the auto transformer starter starting current controlled by a three-phase auto transformer.It can be used for both star connected or delta connected squirrel cage motors. Auto transformer starter basically a three phase step down transformer with different taps provided. Tappings are arranged in such a way that motor can achieve trouble free starting.
